Northstars 2010
Northstars New Look!
We have added a new look to the Northstars and you will see that ALL players who are in the Northstars program will get their 2 year team jacket when they make the team.
Take a look for them around your school.
The jacket is complimentary of the Northstars football team and comes out of team funding.
That is no cost to you the player or their family.
Northstars Alumni
With the Northstars we don't look at success as winning a provincial championship.
We look at success as providing leadership and developing success at the next level.
In 2009....
- At the Salsibury awards, five award recipients were from the Northstars.
- The rookie of the year at ABJ was from the Northstars
- We also had award winners at Bev Facey as well.
It's about developing the person.
If you are only counting champions, then there is only one winner every year.
We are about teaching football and enjoying the game.
At our 2009 Award banquet Chris Ciezki of the Edmonton Eskimos presented the team with pictures of himself and Chad Rempel of the Hamilton Tigercats

Northstars Practices
Effective Tuesday August 31st, our practice schedule will be Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays
from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
*As Monday August 30th is the first day back at school, there is no practice.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday practice nights will be our standing schedule; however at Coach's discretion, we may announce additional practices the day before a game.
A September calendar will be emailed and posted at the clubhouse once further games have been announced.
We have tickets available for our Raffle!
With only 1600 tickets printed, the chances are good to win one of the following awesome
prizes:
- 1st Prize: 4 tickets to the 2010 Grey Cup game in Edmonton
- 2nd Prize: Autographed Edmonton Eskimos Helmet
- 3rd Prize: Autographed Kamau Peterson Jersey
Tickets are $5.00 each.
