The Northstars Football Club and its Executive have announced that a decision has been made to not enter a team in the Midget spring football Capital District Minor Football League.

The Northstars have been providing football experiences to Sherwood Park youth since 1978. The new Executive is excited about refreshing the Northstars tradition of excellence and will be concentrating on putting in place an operational plan with the stakeholders of the Northstars for the 2006 Bantam football season.

The Northstars will be bringing this plan to the community over the winter months, and look forward to meeting with you to discuss what the 2006 Northstars will have to offer. It will be new, bold and positive. Please look out for announcements from the Northstars.

The Northstars would like to thank the patrons and supporters of the team, and ask for your continued support in providing a sporting experience that is positive for the youth of Sherwood Park.
